TEAK WOOD Grades
Just like lumber for building homes, Teak also has grades for the quality of wood.
- Grade A - Straight grains, little or no knots, uniform coloring throughout.
- Grade B - 1 board may have a 2 or 3 knots, slight difference in coloring.
- Grade C - Many knots, less durable, many different colors, grains not straight.
We only use Grade A Teak UNLESS SPECIFIED. Some other companies say they use Grade A, but they really only use it WHERE SPECIFIED
One other thing we want you to know about us is that we make every effort to be as earth friendly as possible. All of our furniture is made from wood that is certified plantation grown. That means that for every tree cut, AT LEAST ONE MORE IS PLANTED to take it's place. Take a look at our link TEAK ABC's for a better understanding of our commitment to the environment.
